Salam Semua.

Sebagai pembuka tirai tahun baru ini aku propose kita kayuh ke Lebuhraya Lekas.

Masa: 7.30am tayar golek
Tempat: Tol Sg Balak
Jarak: 75KM
Route: Tol Sg Balak-Silk Highway-Lekas Highway-Exit Pajam-Kg Enam Kaki Beranang-Rinching Hilir-Bangi Lama-UKM-Silk Highway-Tol Sg Balak

Description:

Mula dari Tol Sg Balak menuju ke Sg Ramal. Masuk kiri ke arah Tol Sg Ramal menuju ke Kajang Utama. Melepasi tol Kajang Utama & exit di Kajang Perdana Interchange. Teruskan perjalanan ke Tol Kajang Selatan (Lekas H/way). Laluan agak landai tapi tiada flat road... samada mendaki atau menurun bukit. Keluar Interchange Pajam & masuk ke kanan menuju ke Pajam. Terus ke jalan Seremban & ambil kiri ke Beranang. Jalan sedikit berbukit. Masuk ke Kg Enam Kaki selepas memasuki sempadan Selangor/N.Sembilan. Laluan kampung agak lengang & sempit... dah nama pun Kg Enam Kaki mesti la sempit... Laluan naik bukit & turun bukit sehingga ke Rinching Hilir. Ambil kiri ke arah Bangi Lama. Ada satu pendakian sebelum sampai ke Bangi Lama. Ambil kanan ke arah UKM. Ada sedikit pendakian & turun bukit. Sampai UKM & terus ke Kajang. Ambil simpang masuk ke Silk Highway & teruskan perjalanan ke Sg Ramal. Melintasi Tol Sg Balak & sampai ke penamat.

Saturday December 20th 2008 Ride: Lekas Higway

Pheew...It has been a while since the last posting.

My apology for those who came for updates and found out that the blog has been very quiet this few weeks. December has always been challenging to organise rides.

During this period of the year is where all the domestic issues escalate: weddings, vacations, balik kampung etc. It's a predictable pattern...sigh.

Anyway back to the activity.

Shamsul texted me yesterday informing about the Lekas Higway Ride. Zaha and I responded. I was a bit late due to unprecedented event that took place at Sungai Balak Toll this morning. I have to thank Shamsul and Zaha for waiting. Thanks for your patience guys

Lekas Highway was just awesome...not too to steep not too flat...suitable for heavy gears, overall...coupled with great weather (sunny and windy) the ride was just fantastic.

Thank you for organising the ride Shamsul...looking forward for the next one next week
