Tour De Limau Manis

We did the Tour de Limau Manis last Sunday. Someone might think really,TdLM? Why the heck not? Let's name this route with something since it seems to be one of our staple route on Sundays.  It's essentially is the Limau Manis-Putrajaya route anyway and the best part has always been the "sweet & sour" rolling hills...yeap we're looking at 11-15 % elevation through out this route until Putrajaya.

From the onset, it was clear that we wanted our buddy Joe to experience TdLM since he'd been asking for the Putrajaya ride. Unfortunately he bailed on the last minute due to personal reason. It's a bit too late too pull the ride off and change the route since we just did it a couple of weeks back. We opted to just do it.

Sungai Long's Misty Hill Ride

Things have been pretty hectic these couple of weeks, hence the late blog update. I pretty much have the materials ready it's just that I want to make sure it's not a rush job. Stuff like spelling errors and "tonggang-terbalik" England are a few of the examples, you get the idea.

I invited my colleague Alain to join me on this ride.  We rendezvous at the Sungai Long's toll and cycled on the SILK Highway enroute to Semenyih. There were just the two us cycling under a cloudy, cool and slightly breezy Saturday morning.

Zaha and Farizal were already at the 2nd RV point near the Kajang Perdana's clover leaf. Farihan arrived a few minutes later followed by one of Bob's regular cycling crew (and I have forgotten what his name was...bummer). After a brief break we continued cycling together through the rolling hills. The view on the Sungai Long's hill was nothing but "magnifique". The air was fresh and hills were covered in thick mist. Kind of reminded of the "Misty Mountains" in the Lord of the Rings...
