What a week....Genting Peres Ride

Just like the title, what a week... and what "not so action packed" weekend rides

I totally missed out the week before. The truth to the mater... I was "marooned " to nanny jobs as the missus went outstation off to a "hunting trip" over the weekend. That limited my mobility to Sg Long route and area nearby the nest.

Prior to that week:

Zaha, Shamsul, Saipol and I went on an "expeditionary" trip dubbed "The doggy dog day out". This time around i purposely didn't bring the camera fearing that it might rain but it did not.

What an opportunity lost!

We took on Semenyih-Lekas-Manting-Bukit Puyuh-Lenggeng-Broga-Semenyih and twice chased by dogs. First one on Lekas and the second one at Pekan Mantin while we were pedaling to Bukit Puyuh in which Zaha's bike kissed my cassette and punctured his front wheel.I was lucky my rear derailleur was intact.

Darn dogs! Remind me to bring a sling-shot along next time. Anyway i had this wild theory that the dogs were "galvanised" by someone's cologne...I wonder who....ehem....

This weekend: Saturday March 28th 2009

We (Zaha, Shamsul, Saipol and Me) took on Genting Peres from Sg. Tekala. May be next time we will revisit the Bukit Antu -Genting Peres back 2 back ride.

We started late. Saipol and I were stuck in a traffic jam near the Nirvana memorial. Apparently it was a service day for our Chinese friends.

I have to say, Genting Peres sure is a beauty...
