Geng,

Just planned the Tour Raja Bukit with Zaha.

Here is the plan:

Date: 28 Feb 2009, Saturday
Route: Pekan Batu 18 - Genting Peres - Jln Sg. Tekali (Bukit Hantu) - Pekan Bt. 14 - Pekan Batu 18.
Distance: 52KM
RV: Pekan Batu 18
Roda Golek: 7.30am (on da dot)
Service Car: Not Provided

The Route diagram is as below:

So... siapa yang Game On please let me know so we can properly plan the plan.
Gang,

Below are the route plan and tulip for the next night ride.

It is not a confirmed route and open for suggestion. The total mileage is 27-25KM.

Lets discuss this shall we....

Diagram 1: Route Plan

Diagram 2: Tulips
Route: Putrajaya
Riders: Cikgu Sham, Faizol

I arrived at Cikgu Sham's house at around 9.33PM. The night was a bit chill but not so windy, it was perfect.

We started cycling at around 9.45PM through the route attached below. The first 5 KM was a bit challenging as we had to cycle through "Adik Bukit Malang" and few more no so cruel climbs besides Alamanda through Taman Wawasan.

Route: Kajang-Mantin-Kajang (Via Lekas)
Mileage: 89.4 KM
Ride crew: Bro Zack, Suhaimi, Bro Man, Romzie, Sham, Zaha, Faizol

Yippie... the ride was ON.

Had a few doubts the ride plan would pull through. It was planned at our usual kedai Roti Canai at Taman Cheras Prima while Suhaimi, Sham, Zaha and I were having breakfast (usual stuff we do after every Saturday Sg. Long ride).

Geng,

Newsflash from Cikghu Sham:

YDP MPKJ, Dato' Hassan Nawawi will launch The Malaysia Book of Record for ride of 4700 Km across Sarawak-Brunei-Sabah.

Ride Details:
  • Date : As subject above
  • RV Point: Stadium Kajang (next to Kompleks Sate Kajang Haji Samhuri)
  • Time: 8.00am
  • Route: Kajang-Bt. 14 Langat.
  • Police Escort: Yes

Planned Route: Kajang-Mantin (LEKAS)-Semenyih-Kajang
Actual Route: Kajang (SILK H/way) ->Mantin (Lekas H/way) ->Semenyih (old road) -Kajang (SILK)
Mileage: 94.9KM

There was no solid plan for Sunday ride. I was thinking of just doing the default route of Sg. Long. Moreover having blocked nose, fever and cough would just justify the route above. Then I got a text message from Shamsul.... "Jom Pegi Mantin Esok ikut Lekas". Hmmm....not a bad idea anyway....

Cikgu Sham..looking cheerful

Place: Putrajaya (In front of The Palace of Justice)

Itinerary :
  • Yada yada, VVIP speach, Yada, yada, yada and flag off
  • Super Easy Ride Single Loop back to start point ( 2-5KM) and tak boleh potong VVIP
  • Easy Ride From the Starting Point straight to Putrajaya Mosque, through the big roundabout , take left to PM Office, continue through the Mosque again and straight back to the Starting Point.

That's about it folks, solid < 15KM ride and a free T-Shirt...oh yeah...not forgetting the free flow of Milo.

About

Cycling Addicts is a blog mainly about cycling. My cycling posse consists of average folks who love cycling on weekends and public holidays. This is our ride journal.

We mostly do road rides in Kajang, Hulu Langat, Inter-state and Putrajaya.

This site is still work in progress. There's a lot to be done to enhance this site to give it a fresh new look and experience. So bear with me.

Mata-ne!
