Kg Gebok, Pajam |
The weather was super fine given the current monsoon/rainy season. It rained in the wee hours Sunday but was bright and sunny the whole morning.
We had a good ride and I had had the opportunity to test the GoPro! I've been testing the camera on my MTB using the handle mount for a few days but the Pajam ride presented the opportunity to test the helmet mount on a long ride.
The thing about this camera is that you need to test all possible setup and fixes in order to get accustomed to the outout based on the angle/view/perspective etc because the HERO does not have a built-in LCD screen like you see on digital cameras and most all video cameras. The idea behind the HERO is to mount it pointed in the general direction you want to record, and go. The camera is fitted with wide angle view, hence it's likely you'll get what you were hoping to capture within the frame.
The camera does come with fed features to capture still images. While Image quality from the GoPro HERO is decent, but nothing to get overly excited about.
Overall we had a good ride! Next up, Setul?
Abayo!
